Vineyard: Ararat valley and Vayoz Dzor region

Grape varieties: 67% Hakhtanak, 26% Kakhet, 7% Areni

Vinification:  The grapes are destemmed and crushed gently to avoid grape seed damage. Classic vinification at 30 degrees with up to two weeks vatting time.

Aging process: Aged in new local Armenian oak barrels of 225l for 12-24 months.

Serving Temp.: To be decanted one hour before and served at 20 °C

Food pairing: Recommended to pair with steaks, cured ham and aged hard cheeses.

Tasting notes: A dark red robe and an intense aroma dominated by red berries, plums, pepper and oaky hints accompanied by mature, silky tannins and a long-lasting persistence.
