Mikael Zakarian is a musician who comes from a family of musicians. During his studies in Lucerne, where he performed with the Lucerne Symphony Orchestra at the KKL to mark the completion of his violin soloist diploma, he founded the Lucerne Quartet together with fellow string musicians.
Alongside his studies with the world-renowned Alban Berg Quartet in Cologne, the ensemble received awards at international chamber music competitions in Poland and Switzerland.
As an artist and wine enthusiast, Mikael decided to share the tradition, culture and history of Armenian wines in Switzerland. Together with Claude Küng, he has specialised in importing exquisite wines from Armenia.
