Co-Founder

Mikayel Zakaryan was born into a family of musicians and is himself a musician. He trained in Lucerne, where he completed his degree as a solo violinist with a performance on the stage of the KKL Concert Hall accompanied by the Lucerne Symphony Orchestra. During his studies he founded with three fellow musicians the LuzernQuartett, who trained with the renowned Alban Berg Quartet and won prizes in international chamber music competitions in Poland and Switzerland. Since 2012, Mikayel Zakaryan has been one of the concertmasters at the Biel-Solothurn Symphony Orchestra.

As an arts and fine wines enthusiast, Mikayel decided to make the tradition, culture and history of Armenian wines better known in Switzerland. In partnership with Claude Küng, he has specialised in the import of Armenian grands crus.
